To create a new event, click the Create button in the top right corner.
Note: If you don't see the create button, make sure you're on the main dashboard by clicking the home button in the left navigation menu.
Once clicked, you'll be taken to the event's General Info section. Under the General Info tab you'll have the option to add:
- An Event Title
- A Hero Image
- An Event Description
- Instructions to send to the volunteer once their shift is approved
Tip: Altruist will automatically save your changes as you make them. You can preview your site and progress by clicking Preview Site in the top right corner.
